In Explorer and FireFox the <th> element defaults to left alignment.

In Prince this becomes centered.

Is this intentional?

This is intentional, but can be overridden with "th { text-align: left }", or you can edit the default style sheets (xhtml.css and xhtml-ns.css) and remove the center alignment altogether if you don't like it.
