Is this supported in Prince 14? I’m expecting to see a lot more of my users using Webp images (see https://wptavern.com/webp-by-default-merged-into-core-for-wordpress-6-1, and my software is a WordPress plugin)

No, WebP (and AVIF) images are only supported in latest builds and Prince 15 when it is released.
