It is hard to grasp the relationship between Prince for Books and standard Prince XML from the documentation.

Is the feature base for PfB the same as for prince or is it different? Will PfB be synchronized with new features developed for prince? This is especially interesting since prince 13 was released but there is no update to PfB for 1 year now.

I think it could be helpful to offer more information on how the development cycle and mutual dependency between the two projects looks like.

Prince for Books is a separate branch at the moment, but we will release an updated build shortly that is synchronised with Prince 13 and includes support for CSS variables etc.

We have updated builds of Prince for Books available now that include all the new changes from Prince 13! We hope to bring both branches closer together in the coming year.
