Hyphenating the hyphenated words

shivaram
Hello,

Is there any option to tell prince to break the long hyphenated words?

We have a text like below and we would like to break after any of the hyphen:
3-[(4-carboxy-4-methylpentyl)oxy]-4-methylbenzoic

Kindly refer the attached image it create loose lines

We can live with any of the below option ( / = line-break )
3- / [(4-carboxy-4-methylpentyl)oxy]-4-methylbenzoic
3-[(4- / carboxy-4-methylpentyl)oxy]-4-methylbenzoic
3-[(4-carboxy-4- / methylpentyl)oxy]-4-methylbenzoic
3-[(4-carboxy-4-methylpentyl)oxy]- / 4-methylbenzoic
3-[(4-carboxy-4-methylpentyl)oxy]-4- / methylbenzoic

The simplest way is to add a zero-width space character, &zwsp; or

Thank you it works. I will do XSLT charmap to replace '-' with '-'

FYI, &zwsp; doesn't work - it just show up as it is in the output.

As far as I know &zwsp; doesn't exist, however you could use or the more obvious , they are all equal to .
