Would appreciate an update on this from 6 years ago: we are trying to select a "first-child" / first-element, but "first" is reset by every page -- is this achieveable directly, or pseudo-achieveable, through some other means?

This requires using a JavaScript two pass process to determine the first element of every page and then running Prince again.
