In the book we are doing there are a few long tables (each spreading through several pages) that are laid out vertically with prince-rotate-body: -90deg; .

As expected, <th> appears correctly repeated on every page...
but in this particular case, being vertical, we would like to have the header displayed only on verso pages.

I've checked the forum and found a possible workaround with using <caption> and the prince-caption-page property instead of <th>, but values are just first | following | all, so no luck with that.

Any ideas on how to achieve what we need?

Just to clarify: the goal is having headers on the first page of each table –which could be a recto page–, and thereafter only on verso pages.

That's very tricky! I don't think we have a mechanism to support this layout yet.

I'm afraid i'll have to slice the content in different tables...
or maybe placing a sort of vertical running header on the left margin of certain pages only...
