I'm wanting to produce some books with Prince and am wondering if it supports cross-referencing an external file. So basically I have a series of books and there might be a footnote in Vol. 3 that says "See p. 55 in Vol. 1". I know you can cross reference within a file, but can reference a specific page in another file?

Difficult, as Prince only generates one PDF file at a time, so it doesn't know what will be the page number for that other file.

You could do it with JavaScript and some external scripting, perhaps.
