If a paragraph has multiple sidenotes, they tend to overlap on top of one another. I was reading this - http://www.princexml.com/forum/topic/1123/sidenotes and one of the responses from you was "I'm not sure how to fix the float overlap automatically, unless we make some major changes to the way Prince does float layout. We may need to do this anyway, but it's a big job and will take time."

Has this been fixed now? Is there any way to stop this overlap from happening?

Not yet, although you can achieve a kind of sidenotes by absolutely positioning the footnotes area and moving it to a column along the side of the page. However, the notes will not vertically align with their origins in the text, they will just stack up.

Is there a way to segregate footnotes? We already have a footnotes area with other content in it, and wouldn't want the sidenotes content to merge into this, before it gets moved to a column along the side of the page
