We still need more clarification on the below subject as our in-house print team insist on a book-form output for our QC process which helps to reduce the amount of papers we use during QC.

During our validation process for the print PDF, we noticed that we print more than 80 pages per the print pdf layout. Is there a way we can have an option to have this double sided in a book form so we can reduce printing to 40 pages for our validation processes?

The 80 PDF pages printed on 40 pages(with verso / recto printing). The printers will use their imposition tools to do the page recto verso layout surely.

Prince does not do imposition (eg. 2-up) at the moment, but you can do this from Acrobat when you print the PDF, and yes I assume that the printers would have more powerful tools for this.
