Corrupt images

I'm generating PDFs from Prince which contain embedded jpeg images. Some of them come out just fine, but some of them come out corrupted in certain PDF readers. (Eg, they're always fine in Preview on OSX, but Adobe Reader will get them wrong). A screenshot of a corrupt image is attached.

Does anyone know what causes this sort of image corruption in PDF readers? The image file taken from the source doesn't seem to be corrupt, and opens fine in anything that can open jpeg.

Could you email me (mikeday@yeslogic.com) the PDF, and the JPEG?

For anyone else with the same issue - Mike figured out that the issue was progressive jpegs. I added a step in our CMS's image processing to re-encode any progressive jpegs as baseline and that fixed it.
