we have html which is nearly 16M size and when we run it manually it took 36 mins to convert (PDF).

with debug mode it looks like loading the html document takes more time.

is that something normal behavior as the file size is huge?

Would you be able to email me (mikeday@yeslogic.com) a compressed copy of the document so we can do some performance profiling? Perhaps there is some structure in the markup which Prince is handling poorly.

It seems that Prince is slow to load HTML documents containing long comments. We will fix this in a future release.

This has been fixed in Prince 10, thanks for letting us know about the issue.
