i know this is a long shot, but i've been racking my brain for days. is there a utility around anywhere for this?

i don't need to know exactly how many pages it'll be when converted to pdf, but somewhere close...maybe just the height in points.

this isn't exactly a prince-problem, but any help or insight will be greatly appreciated

(the problem stems from needing to keep prince from parsing html that would exceed a maximum page limit)

The only way I can think of would be to feed the HTML to Prince and produce a PDF, then run pdfinfo on the PDF file to see how many pages it has, and if it's too big just pretend you never created it!
