Today we have released Prince 5.1 rev 8, a maintenance release featuring some new features and minor bug fixes. (See the release notes for details).

Prince 5.1 users are encouraged to download this new version, which is available as a free upgrade.

Hi John,

Most of the changes are fixes for minor bugs that have been reported on the forum, or performance improvements like the JPEG fix that improve the output of Prince but do not otherwise change the behaviour.

The only new feature is the addition of the --baseurl command-line option, which is documented in "prince --help" as specifying the base URL of the input document, which is exactly what it does. This is equivalent to the xml:base attribute and the XHTML <base> element, neither of which are yet supported by Prince.
