The are obvious feature disparaties between Prince and LaTex, but I am more curious to know if there are differences in the quality of the final product.

Speaking specifically of documents intended for print, is one program's PDFs of higher quality than the other?

Tricky question, as most people using LaTeX produce PostScript output rather than PDF output.

There should not be any difference in quality in the PDF output produced by Prince and LaTeX, although if you do find any please tell us so that we can improve Prince!
