In HTML, the value of the "title" attribute of a reference anchor is shown as a popup by most browsers when hovering over the link. We have HTML that provides useful information about links using this way (e.g. definition of a term).

PDF supports popups as well.

Is there a way to get Prince-XML to show the "title" attribute values as PDF popups ?

Not yet. You could use generated content to render them as footnotes that would show up when the document is printed.
