I encounter the following problem with *some* html files:

I am using the generic 7.1 binary package.

If this is a 64-bit system, perhaps try the 64-bit Ubuntu package? Or the 8.0 beta packages specifically for Ubuntu 10.04.

The problem is still persistent and I can not find any way around.

On Ubuntu I tried to install the various variants for Ubuntu but without success.

The problem is crucial. Can this be fixed?

Install one of these statically linked packages for Prince 7.1:
prince-7.1-ubuntu904-static.tar.gz
prince-7.1-ubuntu904-amd64-static.tar.gz
Or upgrade to Prince 8.0.
