Hi,

I have been using Prince for a while now and have noticed the following problems in my pdf. Sometimes, at the bottom of the columns, the text is placed on the next column, even though there is enough space to place the text in the column. An example is attached in the two pages below (column 3 mims-6.jpg - the text after MAXOLON starts on the next page). Can anyone make any suggestions? It does not always occur (see mims-7, column 3 NEXIUM starts at the same position yet the column is full)

Is it a widows/orphans constraint trying to avoid splitting a short paragraph? Try setting "widows: 1; orphans: 1" for your paragraph text and see if that changes the layout.
