Burmese is a national language in South East Asia. Currently PrinceXml doesn't render it correctly.

Would Graphite support fix the problem?

Sure, support for any other shaping engine would help. Graphite would help in many cases. In this case even support for standard windows uniscribe would help. My current understanding is that there is no plan to put in support for any other shaping engine in the near future.
