On Snow Leopard, I cannot manage to render arial as bold with font-embedding turned of (--no-embed-fonts).

The regular font looks fine, while the text that is supposed to be bold is some very slim generic font (not arial at all). Prince does not output any errors or anything in the console.

Using latest PrinceXML 7.0

Can you try disabling font subsetting as well, with --no-subset-fonts? It seems that this is a minor bug, as subsetting without embedding isn't very sensible, and should be disabled automatically.
