Hi,
is there a way to tell prince to only write certain sets of pages of a pdf?

I'm doing layout for a magazine and I need the cover (pages 1,2, n-1,n) in a separate file.

I can hack around if this is not possible by a commandline option, but it would be quite convenient.

There is no way to generate multiple PDF output documents yet, you would need to generate one output document and chop it up with another PDF tool. Perhaps we can add something for this after 7.0.

I changed my toolchain to generate the cover independent of the book matter now.

I used other tools to split up the pdf before, but that had introduced unwanted side effects (changing fonts to be subset when I didn't want that, changes in encoding that broke the printing, etc.).

Yes, I blame my process more than anything.
