If I wanted to produce a digot, say English - French. And the translation was produced with exactly the same paragraph structure ... Is there a way to say align this paragraph in this column with the corresponding paragraph in the adjacent column? Or this could be page/page instead of column/column. We would have two data streams as input and we would need to reconcile position between the two columns or pages. Or we could have the data merged so the paragraph contents were in the same paragraph. Would float right do the trick?

Float and clear would work, or just a two-column table with one row per paragraph, if you are able to process the input document in this fashion.
